Obituary

Mr. Tommy Lee Lowery, 73, of Bloomingdale, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at Memorial Health Hospital.

Tommy was born in Savannah, Georgia on May 6, 1951 and was preceded in death by his parents, Claudia Odell Lowery and Inez Freeman Lowery, and his siblings, Harold Lowery, Junior Lowery, Sybil Pevey, Faye Sikes, and Joyce Rowe, longtime best friend, Tommy Hires, and his beloved basset hound, Bebo.  He retired from Georgia Pacific, and had been employed at Dan Vaden Chevrolet.  He loved the Lord and his family.  Tommy was a hard worker, the #1 prankster, being outdoors, and never met a stranger.

He will be deeply missed by his wife, Georgia Lee Lowery; children, Tommy Keith Lowery , Daryl Lee Lowery (Shelley), Lori Elkins (Stanley), and Kevin Lowery (Dana); step-children, Jeremy Bass (Krisey) and Candace Bass; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Thomas Wayne Lowery (Mary Taylor Lowery); sister-in-law, Gloria Rebennack and her dog Lucy, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 from 12 noon until 1 p.m. at the funeral home.  The memorial service to honor Tommy's life will follow at 1 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.
