Tony Eugene Young, 63, of Bloomingdale, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at Memorial Health in Savannah, Georgia.

Tony was born in Savannah and was preceded in death by his father, Charles Milton Young, his brother, Richard Clayton Young, and maternal grandparents, Esther Fennell Jones (Luther Jones) and Grover Cleveland Fennell, and paternal grandparents, Daniel Young and Mittie Poppell Young.  Tony enjoyed writing poetry, singing karaoke, riding his motorcycles, and spending time with his dogs, Hercules and Holly.

Survivors include his mother, Shirley Fennell Young; sister, Annette Young Bullard (Timmy); Alan L. Marks, who was like a father to Tony; step-mother, Shirley Ann Young; Alan "Buck" Miles, who was like a son to Tony; half-sister, Chelsea Young Perkins (Kevin); nieces, Sonja Bullard (Timmy) and Erica Farmer (Manos); great-nieces and great-nephews, Charleigh Stone, Baylee Bullard, Emma and Reagan Perkins, Rilee and Parker Farmer, Tre' Stone and Preston Bullard, as well as a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The visitation will be on Friday, April 4, 2025 from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.  The funeral to honor Tony's life will follow at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.  Pastor Brad Proudfoot will officiate and Gene Louder will speak.  The pallbearers will be Gene Louder, Preston Bullard, Danny Wilson, Alan Marks, Tim Kessler, and Alan "Buck" Miles.  Burial will follow at Hillcrest Abbey East Cemetery on Wheaton Street in Savannah.
