Pooler-Tyler James Lawson, 5, passed away on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at his home.
Tyler was born in Savannah. He attended Savannah Christian Church and attended the Trinity United Methodist Pre-School.
Survivors include his parents, Mill & Amy Lawson; brother, Logan Lawson; grandparents, Joan & Bruce Holland and Carol & Millard Lawson; uncles and aunts, Brian & Wanda Holland, Robbie & Juanette Youngblood and Eric & Leigh-Anne Long; great-uncles and aunts, Randy & Nancy Lawson, Glenn & Marie Gibbs, Randy Gibbs, Robin Exley, Emerson Holland, Linda & Matt Garbett; cousins, Haley & Kaitlin Holland, Kaleb & Landon Long.
The visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 in the chapel of the funeral home.
The funeral to honor Tyler's life will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 in the chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Randy Nease officiating. Pallbearers will be Brian Holland, Robbie Youngblood, Eric Long, Randy Gibbs, Jeff Harris and Ronnie Flowers. Honorary pallbearers were teachers and volunteers from the Trinity United Methodist Pre-School. Music was provided by Will Eason. Burial followed at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery on Dean Forest Road.
