Dawsonville, GA-Mr. Uldrick "Archie" McLaws Edwards, Sr., 89, died on Wednesday, January
27, 2010.
Mr. Edwards served with the U.S. Army in World War II and worked for Southern Bell
for 42 years before retiring in 1982.
Mr. Edwards is survived by his wife, Mary Lou, their two sons, Uldrick, Jr. and Robert,
and daughters-in-law, Pam and Stacey; two grandsons, Steve and Matt; brother, Harry Edwards and two sisters, Eleanor Helmly and Carolyn Thompson.
Visitation: 7-8:30 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
Graveside Funeral: 11 a.m. on Saturday at Douglas Cemetery located off of Conaway
Road in Bloomingdale.
