April 17, 1931 – July 12, 2020

Mrs. Velma "Jeanette" Usher, of Rincon, Georgia, passed away at home in Rincon on Sunday, July 12 ^th of natural causes.

Jeanette was born in Oliver, Georgia and was a long-time resident of Port Wentworth.  Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford H. "Pete" Usher, Sr. and several brothers and sisters.

Jeanette is survived by her sons, Clifford H. "Butch" Usher, Jr. (Linda) of Whispering Pines, North Carolina, and Robert J. "Bobby" Usher (Colleen) of Rincon, Georgia; sister, Shirley Ann Brown of Leesburg, Georgia; two grandsons, and four great-grandchildren.

The graveside service and burial will be on Wednesday, July 15 ^th at 11 a.m. at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery located at 1336 Dean Forest Road in Garden City.  All CDC and social distancing guidelines will be in place.
