Vernon Dale Massey
Rincon- Vernon Dale Massey, 86, went to meet his Lord and reunite with his beloved wife, Betty on Wednesday, April 20, 2016.
Vernon served our country proudly through his service in the United States Navy. He retired from CSX Railroad after 40 years of service. He was a dedicated member of First Baptist Church of Rincon and dearly loved each member of his Sunday School Class "The Sojourners".
He will always be in our memory as a proud man who deeply loved his Lord, his family and his friends. He has left behind to cherish his memory a daughter, Dale (James) Ridley; a son, Marty (Dianne) Massey; five much loved grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation: 10-11 am Saturday, April 23, 2016 in the funeral home.
Funeral: 11 am Saturday, April 23, 2016 in the funeral home chapel.
Entombment: Hillcrest West
