Vernon Lee "Skeeter" Tyson, 44, of Ellabell, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2022.

Skeeter was born in Savannah, Georgia and was preceded in death by his father and step-mother, Jimmy and Robin Tyson, and his grandparents, Ann Williams, Vernon Edenfield, Mattie Lee Tyson, and Burdette Tyson.  He was a sub-contractor with Barn Kit Solutions.  He enjoyed hunting, was a fishing fanatic, and loved life.

Survivors include his daughter, Brittany Ann Tyson; son, Bryce Lee Tyson; mother and step-father, Vickie and Ernie Bland; sister and brother-in-law, Permelia Ann Parker and Dana Parker; brother and sister-in-law, Joseph Kelly Tyson and Heather Tyson, and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at the funeral home.

The celebration of Skeeter's life will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 10, 2022 in the chapel of the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home – WEST CHATHAM CHAPEL – 901 West Highway 80, Pooler, GA (912) 748-2444
