Vicki Ilene Fletcher Bridger, 66, left her earthly home after a lengthy illness to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 31, 2024.

She was born September 24, 1957, in Waycross, GA and moved to the Savannah area in her teenage years where she met the love of her life, Thomas Bridger. Vicki's life was full of love. She loved the Lord and prayed all the time. Her love for her family was radiant, especially for her granddaughter, Caroline. She was a wonderful daughter, sister, mother, sister-in-law, aunt, grandmother and friend. She will be sorely missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Elmer Bridger; father, Clayton Fletcher Jr.; brother, David Charles Fletcher.

She is survived by her mother, Lorine Fletcher; daughter, Elizabeth Bridger Giddens (Jason); granddaughters, Caroline Monroe Giddens and Claire Elizabeth Giddens; brother, Sammy Fletcher; sister, Brenda Sanderson; sister-in-law, Mabel Bridger West (Forsyth) and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 2:00pm – 3:00pm on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Homes- West Chatham Chapel with the funeral to follow at 3:00pm in the chapel of the funeral home.

Interment will follow at Gravel Hill Cemetery
