Pooler-Mrs. Virginia Mullins Gracen, 93, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 4,
2009 at Select Care at Candler Hospital.

Mrs. Gracen was born in Pelham, GA and was preceded in death by her husband, Robert
W. Gracen, Jr.. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Pooler and
enjoyed being a member of the U.M.W. for many years. She was a member of the Richard T. Turner Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed gardening, cooking
and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Robert W. Gracen (Janice) of Statesboro;
daughter and son-in-law, Elaine LaRoche (Ike) of Pooler; seven grandchildren; twelve
great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Nell Mullins Roach (C.J.) of Savannah and
a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 6-8 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.

Funeral: 3 p.m. on Sunday at Trinity United Methodist Church, 320 Benton Drive,
Pooler GA with burial to follow at Gravel Hill Cemetery on Highway 80 in
Bloomingdale.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, remembrances may be given to Trinity United
Methodist Church, P.O. Box 602, Pooler, GA 31322 or to the Humane Society, 7215
