Virginia Graham Usher
Springfield –Virginia Graham Usher, 92, passed away Thursday, November 24, 2011 at Effingham Hospital.
The Effingham County native attended Turkey Branch Baptist Church. She had a heart for missions and actively supported several missions and mission organizations. A former teacher and beloved homemaker, she was preceded in death by her parents, Attys and Omye Howard Graham, brothers, Charles and Bob Cockrell Graham, and a sister, Dollie Graham.
Survivors include her children, Laurice Boyd (Olin), Neca Bennett (Ronald), Joe Usher (Pamela) and Ina Hardin (Howard); 9 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one brother, Arnett Graham of Monroe, GA; numerous nieces and nephews; and loving caregiver, Debbie Cottman.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Turkey Branch Baptist Church.
Interment will be in the church cemetery.
