Obituary

Ms. Virginia Aaron Williams, 89, of Pooler, passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at The Resort at Pooler.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Lee Aaron and Frances Huggins Aaron.  She was also preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Marydona A. Eavenson and Jule W. Eavenson.  Virginia grew up in the Assembly of God church and will be remembered as a fierce prayer warrior.  Her life exemplified her love for Jesus and she shared her joy of knowing Him with EVERYONE she met.  She was a member of the Calvary Assembly of God Church in Pooler where she was formerly the Director of Women's Ministries.  She taught public school for a number of years, worked as a case worker with the Department of Family and Children's Services, and was a dedicated and beloved counselor with Teen Challenge for over 25 years.

Survivors include two nieces, Gayle E. Trussell, and her husband, James F. Trussell, Frances E. Todd, and her husband, Steve Todd; great nieces and nephews, Chris Butler, Lauren Novack, Kaleigh Todd, Katelyn Womble, and Bayleigh Trussell; great-great nieces and nephews, Foster Novack, Carlisle Novack, Noah Womble, and Finnley Womble.

The visitation will be from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 21, 2020 in the chapel of the funeral home followed by the funeral at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with Brother Daniel Webber officiating.  Burial will follow at Greenwich Cemetery.  All CDC and social distancing guidelines will be in effect including the wearing of masks (Chatham County Mandate).
