Obituary

Port Wentworth – Vivian Rainey Harvey, 85, wife of Cleatis Harvey, passed away early Wednesday at Candler Hospital in Savannah.

Mrs. Harvey was born in Pitts, Georgia on September 7, 1928 to the late Roy and Lether Hughes. She retired from Citizens and Southern National Bank 1987 after thirty-six years of service and was member of Bonnybridge Baptist Church in Port Wentworth. Mrs. Harvey was preceded in death by her first husband, John Rainey, Sr. and her daughter, Sandra Vincent.

She is survived by her husband, Cleatis Harvey of Port Wentworth; a son, John Rainey and his wife, Carolyn of Thomasville; two sisters, Imogene and Royolene; five grandchildren, Les Rainey and his wife, Cheree of Houston, Tx, Chris Rainey and his wife, Lindsey of Dalton, Kristy Bruce of Hilliard, Fl, Janet Swindell and her husband, Roger of Brunswick; and Sandra Martin of Marietta; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Funeral: 11 a.m. Friday in the chapel of the funeral home.

Internment: Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
