Mrs. Vonnie H. Hathcock, 83, of Guyton, died on Saturday, February 2, 2008 at home
under the care of Hospice Savannah.

Mrs. Hathcock was born in Swainsboro and had lived in Effingham County most of her
life. She was a member of Powers Baptist Church in Eden and enjoyed sewing,
crocheting and growing flowers. She was preceded in death by her husband, W.G.
Hathcock.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Marsha & Bobby Fail of Guyton, son,
Quinton Hathcock of Sylvania, daughter, Sandra Hathcock of Dallas, GA; grandchildren,
Christina Fail, Samantha Fail Tammy Hiler and Mark Hathcock; great-grandchildren,
Hunter Wright, Sabrina Wright, Megan Mckinnie and Emma Hiler; sister-in-law,
Maybelle Harris of Dublin.

Visitation: 6-8 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.

Funeral: 2 p.m. on Tuesday at Powers Baptist Church with burial to follow at Gravel Hill
Cemetery.
