Walton Seckinger Brinson

Port Wentworth – Walton Seckinger Brinson, 87, passed away August 4, 2018 at the Oaks at Pooler.

The Effingham County native was a member of Garden City United Methodist Church. He was a U.S. Navy veteran having served 20 years and retired from GA Ports Authority Police Department after 23 years.

Survivors include his wife, Jacqueline Antionette Taylor Brinson; daughter, Kathy Miller Sinnott; grandson, Tyrel Jacob Oates; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday followed by funeral services at 2 p.m. at Garden City United Methodist Church.

Interment will follow in Union Cemetery in Springfield, GA.
