Walton J. "Patsy" Usher

Rincon – Walton J. "Patsy" Usher, 79, passed away September 13, 2018.

The Effingham County native was a member of Rincon United Methodist Church, the John Wesley Sunday School Class, the U.M.W., served on various church committees, and served as a trustee for the Effingham County Methodist Campground.  She was a member of the Clyo Homemakers and the Effingham County Historical Society.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Faye Joyner; husband, Jimmie Usher; brothers, Joe and Charlie Joyner.

Survivors include her children, Dawn Usher, J. Andrew Usher (Dania), Dana Jones (Kenny); grandchildren, Erica Usher, Cary Zeigler (Adam), Lauren O'Neal, Austin Jones, Kendall Kilgore (Travis), Amber Snooks (Ben), Ivan Kachelhofer; great-grandchildren, Hayden Rainey, John and Sarah Zeigler, Brendan, Collin, and Ainsley O'Neal; sister, Virginia Pevey; sisters-in-law, Joyce Jenkins and Kathleen Joyner; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Rincon United Methodist Church.

Interment will follow in Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery.
