Rincon – Wanda Rogers, 72, passed away December 12, 2024 at St. Joseph's Hospital surrounded by family.

The DeFuniak Springs, Florida native was a retired bus driver for Effingham County Board of Education. She loved singing, dancing, cooking, fishing and crafts, but most of all she loved being with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry C. Rogers; and brothers, Jerry Langley and Bob Langley.

She is survived by her life partner, Marvin "Buddy" Kennedy; daughters, Tammy Rogers and Sandy Thompson; step-daughter, Susan Robbins (Chuck); grandchildren, Zachary Thompson and Shelby Thompson; brother, Donald Langley (Frances); sister-in-law, Judy Langley; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Visitation: 6 – 8 pm Wednesday, December 18, 2024 in the funeral home.

Funeral: 3 pm Thursday, December 19, 2024 in the funeral home chapel.

Interment: Effingham Memorial Gardens
