Rincon – Wanda Jewell Swartz, 71, passed away January 14, 2025 at St. Joseph/Candler Hospital.

The Granville, TN native was the daughter of the late Thurman Bill Harness and Georgia Yates Harness. She had an outgoing personality, that caused everyone who met her to love her. She was devoted to her husband, son and grandson. She was a fighter that battled many types of cancer since 1999. Wanda loved shopping, admiring flowers, and collecting cookbooks and knick-knacks.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Billy, Ralph, Charles and Shelby.

She is survived by her husband, Dennis Swartz, Sr.; her son, Dennis Swartz, Jr.; grandson, Bradlee Swartz; sisters, Martha McCullough, Freda Stover, and Sue Grasley; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins in Ohio and Tennessee.

Visitation: 1 - 2 pm Friday, January 24, 2025 in the funeral home.

Memorial Service: 2 pm Friday, January 24, 2025 in the funeral home chapel.

Inurnment: 10 am Friday, January 24, 2025 in Georgia Veterans Cemetery at Glennville
