Warren Hinely
Miami Springs, FL / Marlow – Warren Hinely, 65, passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at his residence.
The Chatham County native was the son of the late James Ray Hinely and Clyde Leslie Fetzer Hinely and also was preceded in death by his older brother, Will Ray Hinely. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and the GA Salzburger Society. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy and enrolled in Pilot School, then enlisted in the U.S. Army, and then earned a BA in English. He then went on to work for C.S.X. as an engineer and began a successful career with the railroad and then became Vice-General Chairman of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers.
Survivors include his wife, Cassie Michele Wright Hinely of Miami Springs, FL; and numerous cousins.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Friday at Zion Lutheran Church. Mr. Hinely will lie in state from 2 p.m.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
