Pooler-Mr. Wayburn D. McBride, 76, passed away on Saturday, July 10, 2010.

Mr. McBride was born in Sylvania to the late Dewey & Delia Bragg McBride. He was a
member of South Newington Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was
employed at Union Camp for 18 years and retired from Browns Transport after 18 years
of service. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, J.A. & Sue McBride and
Sing & Alice Bragg; a brother, Ralph McBride; a sister, Margie Jenkins and a grandson,
Scotty McBride.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Dorothy J. McBride of Pooler; children, Sheryl
Beatty of Garden City and Gary & Phoebe McBride of Pooler; grandchildren, Chris &
Monica Beatty, Nickie Beatty and Ashley, Jordan & Cassie McBride;
great-grandchildren, Chase & Madelyn Beatty; brother, Malcolm & Betty McBride of
Pooler; sisters-in-law, Laverne McBride of Statesboro, Nedra Messex of Savannah,
Lorene & Joe Cribbs of Guyton and Mildred Hendricks of Hampton, VA and several
nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 6-8:30 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.

Funeral: 10 a.m. on Tuesday in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at
Westside Memorial Gardens on Adams Road in Bloomingdale.
