Wayne Cox, 65, passed away Thursday, August 15, 2024, at Hospice Savannah.

Wayne was born in Augusta, GA to Richard Delano Cox and Billie Joan Duncan Cox.  He worked for McKnight Construction Company as a Project Superintendent for 28 years and was a member of Pine Haven Baptist Church in Brunswick, GA, where he was baptized.  He has lived in Bloomingdale for the last fourteen years.  He is preceded in death by his mother, Billie Joan Duncan Cox; brother, Barry Cox; and sister, Carol Robinson.

Survivors include his wife, Melissa B. Cox; children, Corrie, Brandon, Ashley and Wyatt; granddaughters, Kasey, Chloe, Paighten, Abigail and Brooklyn; father, Richard Delano Cox; sisters, Elaine and Cindy; as well as many nieces and nephews.

There will be a visitation on Saturday, August 17, 2024, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home followed by the funeral at 5 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Gravel Hill Cemetery.
