Marlow – Wayne Crosby, 77, went to be with the Lord on November 6, 2025 at his residence surrounded by his family.

Born April 28, 1948 in Guyton, GA to the late Lois Zittrauer Crosby and J.B. Crosby, Sr.; he was also preceded in death by his 5 sisters, Varnell Mincey, Victoria Clemmons, Rita Crosby, Louise Grovenstein and Jane Moore; 3 brothers, Bruce Crosby, Donald Crosby, and J.B. Crosby, Jr.

After graduating from Effingham County High School he went on to serve as a 20 year veteran of the U.S. Army having served in the Gulf War.

He is survived by his son, Jason Daniel Crosby; step-son, Barry Johnson; sisters, Joyce Smith, Vaughn Williams (G.W.), and Reba Bishop (Charles); sister-in-law, Robyn Crosby; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, November 8, 2025 at Marlow Cemetery with Rev. Dwayne Dasher officiating.
