Rincon – Wayne H. Phillips, Sr., 76, passed away December 19, 2020 at his residence.

The Toombs County native retired from Gulfstream and was a wonderful father. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Williamson Phillips.

Survivors include his sons, Maurice G. Phillips (Katina), Wayne H. Phillips, Jr. (Vickie), and Chad Phillips; his mother, Doris Morrison; grandchildren, Wayne H. Phillips, III, Jordan Teigue (Brandon), Michael Phillips, Madison L. Phillips, Tristen Phillips, Jessica Garretto (Michael), Brandon Smith, Lisa Castanon; great-grandchildren, Sophia Pagano Garretto, Graday A. Ashburn, Gracelynn J. Garretto, Matthew Garretto; his loving caregiver, Marsha Stewart.
