Obituary

Wayne Alvin Reinaman
Guyton- Wayne Alvin Reinaman, born September 8, 1940 in Hanover, Pennsylvania, died Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at his home under hospice care.
Wayne was predeceased by his wife of 52 years, Diane Reinaman, who passed on August 1, 2016. He is survived by his son, Paul of Guyton, Georgia; daughter and son-in-law, Kim (Brooke) Jarboe of Richmond Hill, Georgia; children from a previous marriage, Jannette Eckerd and Ricky Franklin; and four grandchildren of Westminister, Maryland. He is also survived by his sister, Lorraine Haverstick (John) of Michigan City, Indiana; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends and neighbors from Maryland and Georgia.
He retired after 34 years as a trucking transportation driver for American Stone. He and Diane moved to Guyton, Georgia in 2002 to be closer to family and enjoy the warmth of the South.
Growing up in Littlestown, Pennsylvania, he graduated from Littletown High School in 1958. He was a Life Boy Scout and Past Fire Chief of the Fire Department in Kingsdale, Pennsylvania. With his love of history, he donated family memorabilia to the Littlestown Historic Society, where he is a Charter Member.
Wayne joined the Moose Fraternity in 1966 and was very dedicated having received his Pilgrim Degree of Merit in 1995. He is Past President of the MD/DE/DC Moose Association and Life Member of the Reisterstown Moose Lodge #1577. He is also a member of the Savannah Lodge #1550 and Statesboro Lodge #1089.
Wayne loved cooking, entertaining and telling stories, talking about the good ol' days. He loved his furry companions, Major, Mardi, and Minnie and his loving caregivers of Your Mother's Keeper.
Visitation: 11 am – 12 noon Monday, January 16, 2017 in the funeral home.
Funeral: 12 noon Monday, January, 16, 2017 in the funeral home chapel. The Georgia Moose Association will conduct a Moose Pilgrim Ritual Memorial at the end of the funeral service.
Interment: Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Littlestown, Pennsylvania at a later date to be announced by family.
