Guyton – Wayne "Smitty" Smith, 76, passed away February 11, 2022 at Effingham Hospital.

The Cairo, GA native was a U.S. Army veteran and retired truck driver.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Mattie Owens Smith; and 2 brothers.

Survivors include his wife, Donna Horne; daughters, Julie Johnson (Michael) and Jill Baucom (Trevor); step-daughters, Sherry Sloss (Chris) and Terri Bradley (Doug); 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Rev. Hollis Smith (Bittie); and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sunday, February 13, 2022 at the funeral home followed by funeral services at 4:30 p.m. in the chapel.
