Pooler-Mr. Wendelin "Windy" Heintzman, 76, passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at St. Joseph's Hospital.
He was born in Hillsview, SD to the late Felix & Evelyn Heintzman. He, along with his wife, co-owned and operated Heintzman Enterprises. He was a master carpenter, furniture builder, and was featured in a number of articles about his wood working ability.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra Gale Heintzman; children, Todd Heintzman, Penni Case, Robbie Heintzman, Kenny Durden, Sandra Durden, and Lori Schreiner; thirteen grandchildren; one great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
The visitation will be on Saturday from 12-1 p.m. with the funeral to follow at 1 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. The private burial for family only will follow at Newton Cemetery.
