Faulkville-Mr. Wendell Ted Anderson passed on to be with the Lord on February 22, 2016 at his home in the care of Hospice, after a short illness. His loving family and friends were by his side.
Mr. Ted was born in Statesboro, GA on January 12, 1940. He has lived most of his life in Savannah, GA, working for National Wire of GA, in Port Wentworth. Over the past years you could see him driving his dump truck up and down the road for Lane-Lee Trucking Company. He was a member of Silk Hope Baptist Church.
He is survived by his loving wife Linda, of 57 years; their 3 children, Donna Fletcher (Jeff) of Faulkville, Debbie Howard (Roy) of Ludowici, GA, and Buddy Anderson of Faulkville. Mr. Anderson was blessed with four grandchildren, Tabatha Casteel of Guyton, Kip Spence of Springfield, Corey Fletcher of Guyton, and Rocky Sellars of Guyton. The family also grew to include 6 great-grandchildren, Dillan and Lexi Casteel, Landon and Kinslee Spence, Bella Fletcher, and Parker Sellars.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery on Dean Forest Road.
