Mr. Wilbur "Buzzy" Wright, Sr., 78, of Eden, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at Memorial Hospital.

Buzzy was born in Savannah, Georgia to the late Oliver Wright and Anna Cribbs Wright.  He was also preceded in death by six brothers and two sisters.  He retired from Overnite Transportation and was of the Baptist faith.  He enjoyed fishing, and watching the Braves and Bulldogs.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Loyua Wright; son, Wilbur "Toby" Wright, Jr.; grandson, Carson Wright, as well as several nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be on Thursday, December 8, 2022 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

The funeral will be on Friday, December 9, 2022 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow in Bonaventure Cemetery.
