Willene Kessler
Guyton- Willene Kessler, 92, died Thursday, January 19, 2017 at the Effingham Care Center.
The Valdosta, GA native was a member of the Oak Grove Church of Christ. She was the first elementary school secretary that was hired in Effingham County, having worked at Rincon Elementary School for a number of years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold B. Kessler.
She is survived by her sons, William Kessler and Wendall Kessler (Cindy); granddaughters, Amber Pace (Chad) and Abby Matthews (Scott); and five great-grandchildren, Connor and Hunter Pace, and Luke, Landon, and Shelby Matthews.
Visitation: 10-11 am Saturday, January, 21, 2017 in the funeral home.
Funeral: 11 am Saturday, January, 21, 2017 in the funeral home chapel.
Interment: Private burial at Hillcrest Abbey.
