Ms. Willette Lee Baker, 77, passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Ogeechee Area Hospice after a long illness.
She was born in Brooklet, GA to the late J.P. & Beatrice Strickland Lee. Willette had previously worked in customer service at M & M Supermarket and Kroger. She was also a sales associate at Belk Department Store in Savannah. Willette was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Her love for her family was exceeded only by her love for God. She leaves her family with a legacy of goodness, kindness, and faith.
Survivors include her children, Marlin Baker and his wife, Leigh, and Lanora Baker; grandchildren, Megan Jackson and her husband, Matthew, Carlee Baker and Jake Baker; great-grandson, Barrett Jackson; sister, Martha Stidham and her spouse, Robert North; brother, Joe P. Lee and his wife, Teresa, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 3-5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Monday in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
