Mr. William E. "Bill" Burnside, Sr., 92, of Pooler, passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at Hospice Savannah.

He was born in Savannah to the late Charles and Viola Shuman Burnside.  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Sybil A. Burnside, and his sister, Betty Glover.  He served his country in the U.S. Army and was a member of Rothwell Baptist Church.  He was retired from Gulf Oil Company and from Great Dane.  He will be remembered as a hard worker.

Survivors include his children, Billy Burnside (Andrea), Jeff Morgan, and Bryan Morgan (Kim); grandchildren, Bradley Burnside, Stephanie Burnside, Amanda Morgan, Paige Daring (Mikey), and Brandon Morgan; great-grandchildren, Mckinlee Burnside, Marlee Stokes, Millie and Rosie Daring, as well as a number of nieces, nephews and other family members.

The graveside funeral and burial will be at 12 noon on Monday, December 13, 2021 at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery located at 1336 Dean Forest Road in Garden City.
