Mr. William R. "Bill" Crawford, 84, of Bloomingdale, GA, passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at his home.

He was born in Meldrim, GA to the late Randall & Elsie Mayo Crawford.  He was also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lenora Clifton Crawford, and a grandson, William Jason Crawford.  Bill was a member of the Meldrim Baptist Church, a 50 year Mason with the Guyton Masonic Lodge # 428 F&AM, as well as the American Legion.  He served his country in the U.S. Air Force for 16 years and retired from CSX Railroad after 40 plus years of service.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael Crawford (Lisa) and Randy Crawford (Roxanne); grandchildren, Jordan Randall Crawford (Sarah) and William Caleb Crawford (Jena); great-grandchildren, Liam, Wesley, Brooks, Aubrey, and Avery Crawford.

The viewing and visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 23, 2020 at the funeral home.  All CDC and social distancing guidelines will be in place including the wearing of masks (Chatham County Mandate).  The graveside funeral and burial will follow at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 23, 2020 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Meldrim.  Rev. Randy Smith will officiate and the pallbearers will be Jordan Randall Crawford, William Caleb Crawford, Tony Calhoun, Michael Zoller, Ken Hayes, and Kenneth Layne
