Brooklet-Mr. William H. "Bill" Hall, 69, passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2015 at Ogeechee Area Hospice.
Bill was born in Metter to the late Glenn & Lorene Hall. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Rita Nasworth, and Margaret Churchill, and a brother, James Hall. He attended Groves High School, and served his country in the U.S. Army "A" Company, First Battalion, 18th Infantry, First Infantry Division. He was a Vietnam veteran, serving from 1965 until 1966. He grew up in Bloomingdale before moving to Brooklet 15 years ago. He retired from International Paper, after 38 years as a Pipefitter, and was a member of the Local # 188. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and coaching Little League Baseball at Lakeside.
Survivors include his wife, Janette Kay Hall; children, Kevin (Tina) Hall, Angel Hall, Roger Hall, Loureena (Calvin) DeLoach, and Shane (Erin) Smith; nine grandchildren; sister, Barbara (Cecil) Arldrich; brother, John (Clisty) Hall; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Gravel Hill Cemetery.
