Rincon – William Lawton "Bill" Proveaux, 50, passed away February 4, 2024.

The Chatham County native was a U.S. Army Veteran and employed with Good Year.  He loved riding motorcycles, working on vehicles, and helping others.

Survivors include his parents, Ronnie and Eileen Proveaux; his son, Samuel David Proveaux (Victoria Paige Sanders); grandchildren, Willow Rose Proveaux and Camdyn Sanders; sister, Barbara Eileen McQuilkin;  nephews, Austin and Ryan McQuilkin.
