William J. "Bill" Smith, Jr.
Clyo – William J. "Bill" Smith, Jr., 83, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at Hospice Savannah.
The Bulloch County native was a member of Turkey Branch Baptist Church and retired from Johns Manville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William J. Smith and Daisy Bell Edwards Smith; and his wife, Blanche Kennedy Smith.
Survivors include his children, JoAnne (John) Lewis of Clyo, Rickey (Bonnie) Smith of Cairo, and Danny (Vonnie) Smith of Clyo; 3 granddaughters, Jennifer Guess, Kerri Barrett, and Chasiti Smith; and 4 great-grandsons.
Visitation will be 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home followed by funeral services at 1 p.m. in the chapel.
Interment will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
