Guyton – William Gilbert "Bill" Wallis, 78, passed away on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at his residence.

Mr. Wallis was born Syracuse, New York and was a son of Merrill Wallis and Beulah Ida Potter Wallis.  He was a Veteran of the United States Army having served in The Vietnam War.  Mr. Wallis was retired from Gulfstream having worked as a millwright for several years.  In later years, he along with his son, Larry Wallis, owned and operated B and L Automotive in Guyton.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Evelyn Crosby Wallis of Guyton; a son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Jennifer Wallis of Guyton; a brother, Jason Wallis of Florida; and his grandchildren, Michael Anthony Wallis, II, Monica Lewis, and Katelyn Madrid.

Visitation from 10-11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at the funeral home with the funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. Burial will follow at Power Baptist Church Cemetery.
