William "Billy" Bland, 69, of Bloomingdale, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2023.

Billy was born in Savannah, Georgia.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Robbie Bland and June Kent Bland, and brothers, Ricky Kent and Mike Bland.  Billy had been employed with Southern Company, Good Cents Solutions, and was the owner/operator of Energy Analytics.  Billy loved the GA Bulldogs, hiking and spending time in the North Georgia Mountains.  He enjoyed meteorology, astronomy and math.  He will be remembered most for loving his family, but with little tolerance for talkers.

Survivors include his sister, Karen Kent Bland; brother, Mickey Bland (Cathy); nieces and nephews, Lauren Weekley, Michael Bland, Robin Bland Benton, and Julie Bland Trowell; great-nieces and nephews, Declan, Nicholas, Matthew, Eli, Reagan, Kari, and Samantha.

The visitation will be on Thursday, October 5, 2023 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the funeral home.  The funeral to honor Billy's life will follow at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
