Mr. William R. Brune Sr., 81, of Bloomingdale, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2023.

William was born in Banning, California.  He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary Brune, as well as his wife, Lillian Brune.  He was part of the Gabrielino-Tongva Indian Tribe.  He served his country in the United States Army where he was a recipient of the Purple Heart Award.  He was self-employed truck driver for many years.

Survivors include three sons, William Robert Brune Jr., Christopher Brune and Ty Brune; daughter, Michelle Bendel; grandchildren, Breanna Ricker, Cody Brune, Sean Robinson and Ryan Robinson; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Eddie Brune, Al Brune and Chris Brune; niece, Barbara; nephew, Gabriel.

The graveside funeral and burial to honor William's life will be on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 12 noon at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens located at 315 Greenwich Road in Savannah, Georgia.
