Mr. William Joseph Burchett, 73, of Pooler, passed away on Monday, January 21, 2019 at his home.

He was born in Savannah to the late Fletcher Edward Burchett, Sr. & Dorothy All Burchett.  He attended Rothwell Baptist Church and retired from Northfolk Southern Railroad after 32 years of service.

Survivors include his wife, JoAnn Burchett; daughter, Anita Durham; son, William Joseph Burchett, Jr. & his wife, Candy; grandchildren, Jessica Michelle Netterstrom, Teresa Durham, Jacob Burchett and Sam Burchett; great-granddaughter, Hailey Lorelai Netterstrom; cousins, Susan All, Kathy Buie and Vickie McNutt, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Funeral: 12:30 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
