William Scott Carter

Clyo- William Scott Carter, 48, died Sunday, February 3, 2019 at Memorial Health.

The Effingham County native was preceded in death by his parents, William Homer Carter and Sarah Elizabeth Veale Carter. Scott was loved by all who knew him.

He is survived by his brother, James H. Carter; sister, Kim Bean (Mike); girlfriend, Lisa P. Edwards; nieces and nephews, Jamie R. Carter, Frances E. Conely, Dewayne Bean, Jennifer Bean, and Amy Bean; great-nieces and nephews, Erin E. Conely, Aden G. Conely, and Sarah Stevens.

Visitation: 10 -11 am Friday, February 8, 2019 in the funeral home.

Funeral: 11 am Friday, February 8, 2019 in the funeral home chapel.

Graveside Service: 3 pm Friday, February 8, 2019 at the Georgia Veterans  Memorial Cemetery in Glennville, GA.

Remembrances: National Diabetes Association or the American Cancer Society.
