William "Steve" Cribbs

Rincon – William "Steve" Cribbs, 68, passed away Friday, May 2, 2014 at Memorial Health.

The Chatham County native was a member of First Baptist Church of Rincon and retired from Gulfstream.  He was preceded in death by his parents, William G. Cribbs and Marguritte Bishop Cribbs; and sister, Teresa Romine.

Survivors include his loving wife of 31years, Georgia H. Cribbs; step-daughter, Tonya Jonas of Guyton; step-son, Derrell Dowd of Montana; 4 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren;  sister, Diane Williams of Garden City; brother, Terry Cribbs of Rincon; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday in the funeral home chapel.

Interment will follow in Springfield Cemetery Annex.
