William David Driggers, 60, of Pooler, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2021.
David was born in Winston Salem, North Carolina to the late William Oscar Driggers and Margaret Heath Driggers. He was a member of Central Baptist Church and retired from the ILA Local 2046. He raced cars for many years, including at Oglethorpe Speedway, enjoyed hunting, fishing, and yard work.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy Driggers; son and daughter-in-law, Nolan and Terri Driggers; grandchildren, Nolan David Driggers, Jr., Zoe Purvis, and Kenzie Driggers; brother, Donald Truselo, and a number of cousins, aunts and uncles.
The viewing and visitation will be from 5 until 6 p.m. on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 in the chapel of the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home. The service to honor David's life will follow at 6 p.m. with Brother Kenny Harrelson officiating. All CDC and social distancing guidelines will be in place including the wearing of masks (Chatham County Mandate).
