William Edward "Ed" Cubbedge

Rincon- William Edward "Ed" Cubbedge, 79, passed away peacefully at home on July 25, 2018.

The Screven County native was the youngest of 15 children and was a member of Rincon Baptist Temple. Ed was retired from Georgia Pacific and had been an industrial and residential sewing machine mechanic for many years. He enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with his family. Ed was a quiet man that loved the Lord.

Survivors include his wife, Katherine Sheffield Cubbedge; son, Tommy Cubbedge (Sandra); daughters, Terri Smith (Craig), Tonya King (Mark), Traci Rahn (Corey), and Tammi Lanier (Steve); brother, George Cubbedge; sisters, Rosa Lee Dwelle, Maudine Johnson, and Doris Claxton; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 6-8 pm Friday, July 27, 2018 in the funeral home.

Funeral: 11 am Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Rincon Baptist Temple. Body will lie in state for an hour prior to service.

Interment: Screven Memorial Park
