William Gerard Eichenlaub-Boylan

A" Firecracker Baby", born July 4, 1952, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. If there was one word that could describe him, it would be two words… caring and smart. He cared deeply for people and would go above and beyond to help them, especially his family. He was the lifelong companion of Lynne Collins-Boylan, father of one daughter Carrie (spouse David Hall).  He was a brother to Christine (California), Bernadette (Florida) and Terry (Ohio). He was the grandfather of three, Ashley and Waverly Patton, Abigail and Ethan and great-grandfather of Logan.

Papa Bill, as we called him, was such a smart man. Not just the "What historical event happened on this date?" type of smart. He knew a lot of things about, a lot of things. Anything from how to replace a clutch in an old truck to how to properly seed your backyard… if he didn't know it, he would figure it out then help you understand it.

Papa Bill passed on to heaven on 4/4/2022 at 13:42 at the age of 69 after an extended illness. He was surrounded by Lynne, Carrie, David, Ashley, Ethan, and Abigail. Our hearts are forever broken, we will miss him deeply and we love him so much.
