Mr. William D. Gordon, Sr., 71, of Pooler, passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2020 at Memorial Health University Medical Center.

He was born in Chatham County to the late George A. Gordon and Elizabeth Into Gordon.  He was also preceded in death by two brothers, George Gordon and Charles Gordon.  He was a retired truck driver and enjoyed fishing.  He served his country in the United States Army in the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Gordon; sons, William Daniel Gordon, Jr. and Rayford Gordon; grandchildren, William Randall Gordon, Dylan Conner Gordon, and Rachel England; brothers, Richard Gordon and Cecil Gordon; sister, Elizabeth Howard, and several nieces and nephews.

The graveside funeral and burial will be on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at 3 p.m. at Elkins Cemetery located on Highway 204 in Chatham County with Brother Kenny Harrelson officiating.
