William A. "Tony" Griffin
William A. "Tony" Griffin, 38, of Savannah, died on Saturday, January 19, 2008 at
Memorial Health University Medical Center.
Tony was born in Chatham County and was employed with Adiev Restoration.
Survivors include his daughter, Lennon Michelle Griffin of Savannah; parents, Wanda &
Tommy Griffin; sister, Lisa Griffin; brother, Jamie Griffin; maternal grandmother, Alma
Zettler, all of Guyton; paternal grandmother, Evelyn Griffin of Savannah; niece, Erika
Griffin; nephew, Brian Griffin, both of Guyton; aunts and uncles, Susan & David Elliott
and Ricky & Janice Zettler, all of Guyton and Buddy & Christie Adams and Will & Diane
White, all of Savannah and a number of cousins.
The visitation for Tony will be from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at the
Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home, West Chatham Chapel.
The funeral to honor Tony's life will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 24, 2008 in the
chapel of the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home, West Chatham Chapel.
Officiating will be Rev. Cam Huxford, Pallbearers will be Mike Adams, Joey Adams,
Luke Adams, Matt White, Michael Crawford, Stephen Crawford, David Elliott and
Jeremy Zettler and music will be provided by Mr. David Jackson. Burial will follow at
Forest Lawn Memory Gardens on Bonaventure Road in Savannah.
