Obituary
Richmond Hill-Mr. William J. "Jack" McLaughlin, 80, passed away on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at Hospice Savannah.
Mr. William was born on Isle of Hope and lived in Faulkville for 22 years before moving to Magnolia Manor 6 years ago. He retired from Union Camp after 30 years of service and served his country in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing and camping. He was preceded in death by his parents, Julius B., Sr. & Margaret McLaughlin; wife, Christine McLaughlin; children, Barbara Pezzuto, Edwin "Buddy" McLaughlin, Bill McLaughlin, Johnny Jernigan and Donna Jernigan and his sister, Nan Geiger.
Survivors include his children, Helen McCutchen & Roger; David McLaughlin & Robin Edwards, Bobby and Debbie Withrow and Michael Withrow; daughter-in-law, Theresa McLaughlin; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Julius "Sonny" McLaughlin, Jr. & Barbara; several nieces and nephews.
The memorial service will be at 2 p.m. on Monday in the chapel of the funeral home with military honors.
