Springfield – William James "Bill" Buske, 45, passed away.

The Chatham County native graduated from Benedictine and Georgia Southern University where he was a writer for the "The Eagle" and also played Rugby. He was employed with Georgia Pacific, enjoyed fishing, sailing, was a composer of music, and an author, having published a book entitled, "Beach Songs".

Survivors include his parents, Jim & Roseanne Buske of Savannah; sister, Lynn Buske of Atlanta; brother, Brian and wife, Elizabeth Buske of Mt. Pleasant, SC.

Bill was a wonderful son and brother. He will be dearly missed and will always be in our hearts.

Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 21, 2011 in the chapel, 2460 Hwy. 21 S., Rincon, GA 31326.

In lieu of flowers remembrances may be given to the Humane Society.
