Springfield – William O. Lacey, 71, passed away Friday, August 30, 2013 at his residence.
The New York native grew up in Pennsylvania and was a member of Life Springs Worship Center and former owner of American Mechanical. He was preceded in death by his daughters, Tresa Cook and Debra Sloan.
Survivors include his wife, Bobiette S. Lacey; children, Kimberly Fasser, William Lacey, Shari Grudier, Patricia Rewis, Wanda Furlong, Henry Moore, III; special granddaughter that he raised, Christan McKellar; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, siblings, Betty Brussell , Vera Day, Fran Martin, and Catherine Turner.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel.
Interment will follow in Effingham Memorial Gardens.
