Pooler-Mr. William Larry "L.C." Coleman, 66, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Monday, August 8, 2016.
L.C. was born in Mableton to the late Bill Coleman, and Miriam G. (Nell) Bell. He had many friends in the community and was loved by many. L.C. served thirty one years in the military, the Navy and then the Air Force. He retired as a Fuel Sgt. Specialist from the 165th Airlift Wing. LC truly loved his country and what our flag represents. He loved women, baseball, Nascar, and a cold Bud Light. You could often find LC at a local bar chatting with buddies and having a cold one. LC would like for people to know that he had a great life because as he always said "I did it my way".
Survivors include his wife, Doris Coleman; daughter, Stephanie Williams; grandchildren, Nikki Corbin, Hailey Williams, and Matthew Corbin; brother, James L. Coleman, and close friend, Pam Roman.
The funeral will be on Thursday at 7 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with visitation one hour prior to the funeral.
