Rincon – William Miller Melton, 80, passed away Sunday, November 21, 2010 at home.
He was born November 5, 1930 in Tallassee, AL. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Lester V. and Myrtle L. Melton, and brother, Wallace R. Melton.
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Frances S. Melton; sons, William Don Melton and wife (Winda), Barry Melton and wife (Loretta); one brother, Davis V. Melton and wife (Fredericka) of Tallassee, AL; three grandchildren, William Don Melton, Jr. (Donnie) and wife (Kimberly), Christopher Len Melton (Chris), and Jonathan M. Melton; one great-granddaughter, Emily Dawn Melton of Rincon; sister-in-law, Doris Melton of Savannah; two nieces; one nephew; and several grand-nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at Jeffcoat Funeral Home in Tallassee, AL.
